Association Intelligence
(AI) is the term we coined to describe Business Intelligence
(BI) for Associations. All associations depend on reports
for information and until recently this often meant the
time-consuming and expensive creation and maintenance of
scores of Crystal or MRS reports. Multi-dimensional analysis
and advanced analytics have typically been expensive
propositions that only the largest associations could
undertake. Recent developments have made full-featured BI
capabilities available at lower costs so that associations
of any size can reap the benefits of BI, but there are
important factors to consider before you start. This session
will explain why it is important to be a data-driven
organization and will cover the fundamental principles of
Business Intelligence. We will also look at the real world
position of a typical association as it relates to the
Business Intelligence landscape – taking into consideration
the decision points, strategies, change management and
resources required – and what this all means to you.
